She has started to dance at early ages with the encouragement of her dad ÜMİT İRİS who is the famous dance choreographer in Turkey.
She has been operating a tango school Cafe La Cumparsita since 2002.Until 2006 she has been performing as a tango dj at Cafe La Cumparsita every tuesday.And her other performances are Istanbul Tango Ritual,IstanbulTango milonga,Ponte milonga,People milonga etc.
She prefers traditional tango orchestras.She puts her self in the place of dance floor ‘s dancers and chooses the musics according to their pleasure .
Her favorite orchestras are;Francisco Canaro, Edgardo Donato, Juan D’arienzo, Francisco Lomuto and Rodolfo Biagi.
